Ajwa dates from Saudi Arabia

CREATIVE PROCESS:

In a place as peaceful and soothing as Larre Aundi, where horses sometimes wander over to see what we’re up to, the landscape naturally becomes part of the experience.

A beautiful corridor of trees surrounds this particular spot, creating a sense of intimacy and shelter around the table that inspired our Encuentro Creativo at UVE.

Here, the 40 lamps would become the heart of the space, bringing a warm, cosy light that invites you to slow down, gather around the table and enjoy the moment — creating an atmosphere that feels just as special and magical as the landscape itself.

The table's black and white stripes are inspired by traditional Bedouin tents, like this one in Petra, Jordan.

Nero Marquina marble is a world-renowned stone quarried in Markina, Bizkaia.

Ajwa dates, the finest from Saudi Arabia. Traditionally served with Arabic coffee or tea, they are made to be shared in conversation—just as I experienced in Nizwa, Oman.
